woke up early this mornin to do some shootin.. since i was too lazy to go out, i just hunted around for some stuff to shoot at home.. aaaand.. i found a spidey web and a weird furry plant! check this out =D

it's sem break again!! =D about time, too. God knows how i need to catch  up on some much needed sleep.. eye bags are starting to get awfully heavy. Pimples have been poppin up like toadstools after the rain, too. 

Anyhoos, skittles had puppies again! four this time.. they're 8 weeks old now and we're about to sell them off. 2 males, 2 females.. they're nicknamed spockles, sloo, socks and slurpee, and they're mighty cute!

2ndly, Sis celebrated her 21st bday this yr.. =) RUTH HOO.. ure OLD. ;p we celebrated at paddington hse of pancakes with my godma n her family and at some revolving hotel in KL with my dad, mae & celina.. the whole revolving thing was kinda jerky.. didn't feel too good after awhile. = food was pretty good, though =)

3rd off, here are some of d assignments for this sem.. =)

*this is a mini game thing.. was a group project =) btw, my groupmates are GREAT this time, thank God.. anyways, they're mini games for primary school kids to learn about recycling.. don't ask why it's called recyclops.. >.< our focus was on plastic =) i don't know how to upload the real programme to the net.. so you'll just have to look at screen shots of it.*

On saturday was our 3rd *i think* youth cell group meeting. =) we went to the cine leisure to watch tropic thunder.. there was this superheroes/villians cosplay thingy goin out at the ground floor. Folks were dressed up as hellboy, CS guy, Jason, etc and were takin photos with the folks. Anyway, here are some of the photos ;)

And yesterday was sophie's birthday. =) we celebrated at delicious in Bangsar village, and the went for ice cream at Baskin Robins. Was good fun ;) will let the photos speak..

updates!

first.. i adopted 2 new hamsters from kah mun =) she doesnt really want them and i dont mind having them as long as they get along with dexter. So far, so good. Although dexter was pretty scared of them at first. One of them actually bit dexter when dexter stepped on him on accident! Named them dip n chale *more commonly known as piepie & bunbun, hehe* And they're friggin obese, btw. i'll let the piccies talk now =)

Next, the lecturers planned a camp for us Media Innovation students-- to the dreaded ULU YAM....T.T.. if you scroll down, you could read about my blog post on the worst camp ever, and it took place in friggin ULU YAM... so you can imagine our reactions when we heard the location of the camp. AND we had 2 stay there for 2 nights. AND we dont get dorms this time, we got tents. Food sucked, btw. but other than that it was kinda nice to get to know better the people in the same major as i am. And the activities were definitely better than the previous camp, except for the part where we were FORCED to swim in MUD THAT WAS WAIST HIGH by the hike guide, Sheffery or something *more commonly known as atuk*. Gosh, we were a sight to bear after the hike. and it was awfully smelly, btw. smelt of pee and rusted metal. I threw away my good ol' bata shoes. Wish i had pics to post, but we were busy trying to save our cameras from coming to contact with the evil pool of filth. Zam lost his glasses trying to save my camera bag, btw. >.< Food wasn't great either.We were served chicken organs n rice boiled with cabbage on the first night. Plain bread for supper. Eeuch.

last random pic-also a 5% assignment for MI during the camp.

there's no need to say this, but i will say it anyway for common courtesy purposes- i have been busy ;) but i had a week's worth of hols this week, and so here i am, updating my steadily decreasing ammount of readers. hehe..

first update. my pigs died =( they were attacked by some bacterial infection.. and going to the vet didn't help. so both my dear late guinea piggies were laid to rest in my garden. was really sad about it, and was pretty determined that i didnt want a new guinea pig.. but i had plans for a chipmunk. ;p then one day, i was walkin by a pet store and i saw him...

a funky-furred piggy rockstar with heart meltingly cute eyes. it was love at first sight... sister was all up for him instead of a hyper active and probably wild chipmunk.. so so, i brought him home! =D

named him dexter =) nickname's scruffles! AND he has a mohawk ^-^ and no, i didn't gel or style it or anything..his fur naturally grows that way. trying to flatten it would only bear fruitless results. he reminds me ALOT of theodore from alvin & the chipmunks~ so cute! meet dexter!

next.. i started 3D modelling classes =) it's frustratingly tough, but oddly satisfying when you get to do it right..

next, photography class started too =D

first task was to shoot 'warrerfall', as according to our lecturer.. so here are the pics from the 'warrerfall' ;)

oooh yes, and i got my first leech bite! actually i got two at one go..

2nd task was an exercise of depth of field...i needed 2 models/talents for this, and fiona & soon jun very kindly agreed to help me out.. =D thanks guys! and rachie chen too, for being d make up artist/director.. *grins* you rock, girl! and thank you marilyn for letting me have spencer for the shoot ;) and lastly, thank you ellis, for helping me out with the theme and feel of the photos! ;p anyway here are some of the results =)
